This tall figure was not unfamiliar to Bella Acker because he had appeared in her dreams countless times.

Damian Sinclair’s long legs made him quick, and his skills were impressive. He caught up with the bag snatcher in an instant, reached out to grab the thief’s shoulder, and with a single move, flipped him to the ground.

The bag snatcher fell to the ground and still wanted to resist, pulling out a small knife from his pocket.

Initially, Damian Sinclair intended to punch the thief unconscious, but hearing the footsteps approaching from behind, he instantly changed his mind.

The bag snatcher swung the knife, the sharp blade grazing Damian Sinclair’s hand, causing beads of blood to emerge immediately.

Damian Sinclair’s expression remained unchanged as he delivered a punch, knocking the bag snatcher out.

The commotion drew a crowd of onlookers. Damian Sinclair didn’t even glance at the wound on his hand. He retrieved Bella Acker’s bag from the thief’s grasp before taking out his phone to dial 110, "A bag snatcher caught at Argon Plaza." He said, then hung up.

Bella Acker stepped forward and saw the long cut on his hand still bleeding, her eyes widening abruptly, "Damian... Mr. Sinclair, you’re hurt."

"It’s nothing." Damian Sinclair handed her the bag, "Be more careful when walking on the street next time."

Bella Acker paused for a moment, took the bag, and pulled out a silk scarf from inside, "Mr. Sinclair, let me bandage your wound first."

Damian Sinclair glanced at her and, this time, didn’t intentionally argue, extending his bleeding hand.

Bella Acker looked at his bloodied hand, her breath catching, and carefully bandaged the wound with the silk scarf. She turned back to ask the onlookers, "Is there a hospital or clinic nearby? Or even a pharmacy, as close as possible."

"If it’s a pharmacy, there’s one fifty meters ahead, around the corner," a kind-hearted onlooker pointed to the front.

"Thank you," Bella Acker thanked them, then turned and said, "Mr. Sinclair, I’ll take you to the pharmacy to bandage the wound first, then to the hospital."

"It’s just a small wound, why are you so nervous?" Damian Sinclair casually retracted his hand, as if the few centimeters long cut wasn’t on him at all.

Bella Acker was a bit anxious and worried but also a little angry due to his indifferent attitude, so her tone inevitably turned sour, "Don’t you know small wounds can be deadly at times? Who knows where that knife has been, what if it gets infected, or causes tetanus?"

"You’re worried about me?" Damian Sinclair looked at her intently.

"I..." Bella Acker hesitated for a moment before replying, "You got hurt while helping me retrieve my bag. If anything happened because of this, I’d feel guilty. Plus, you’re so valuable, if something happened and I had to compensate you, I couldn’t even afford it."

Damian Sinclair’s gaze instantly darkened, a mocking cold laugh escaped, "Ms. Acker is really cautious. But rest assured, I haven’t fallen to the point of needing to con anyone."

Bella Acker’s expression stiffened momentarily before she said, "I... I didn’t mean that."

"Then what did you mean?" Damian Sinclair asked, "Afraid I’ll cling to you over this injury?"

"I’m not that self-centered," Bella Acker lowered her eyes, "I’ll take you to the pharmacy to bandage the wound, then to the hospital to check if you need a tetanus shot."

"No need, I’m now very averse to going to hospitals."

As they spoke, the patrolling officers nearby had arrived, pointing to the bag snatcher still unconscious on the ground, asking, "Is this the thief?"

"Yes," Damian Sinclair nodded.

Bella Acker looked at his side profile, slightly puzzled. Why the aversion to hospitals?
