Chapter 661 - 660: The First Rule of Pursuing a Wife (4)
The only son of the world-renowned entertainment mogul, Cargill?!
Judy Zimmerman was shocked, "Cargill’s only son? The one who’s never been seen in the media or newspapers, but is famous for dating Hollywood stars and socialites—Aiden Hayes?!"
"Yeah, that’s him." Bella Acker sighed, "That guy is so annoying."
"Bella, how do you know him?" Judy was even more astonished.
"Because of an actress from our school who’s already somewhat famous in Hollywood," Bella said. "It’s a complicated affair. After a performance at school one day, I went to the library and happened to catch him getting cozy with that actress. Not only was he unabashed, but he used it as an excuse to pester me. One thing led to another, and we got to know each other."
Judy: "...That’s really something."
Bella shrugged.
As they talked, they reached the door of the waiting room. Judy said, "You’re meeting a friend, so I won’t go in."
"Alright, you go do your thing." Bella nodded, then turned the doorknob and entered the waiting room.
In the simply but elegantly decorated waiting room with black accents, someone was sitting in a chair, rocking it slightly, with long legs wrapped in black jeans casually resting on the conference table.
A magazine covered his face, only revealing a finely-chiseled chin.
The most striking feature was his golden hair draped over his shoulders, making him look like an Elf Prince who had just stepped out of the Kingdom of Elves.
Such a perfect physique and enticing aura would certainly captivate any other woman, but Bella was immune to it all.
Bella walked to the side of the conference table and asked nonchalantly, "When did you get here?"
"Dear Bella, I’ve been posing for a long time, and you’re not appreciating it at all. You’re so unromantic." Aiden Hayes removed the magazine from his face, a devilish smile playing on his lips.
"Do you want people to admire your beauty? Fine, I’ll go call a few in." Bella rolled her eyes at him with a smile, saying so but not actually leaving to call anyone in.
"Bella, is your heart made of stone?" Aiden Hayes took his long legs off the chair and propped his chin on his long, elegant fingers, looking up at her with eyes as blue and seductive as they were slightly plaintive.
Being of mixed heritage, his looks were a blend of East and West, combining all the best features. If he were a woman, he’d surely be a fatal beauty. But as it stands, he’s something of a male enchantress, as many women have already been left heartbroken by him.
"Whether my heart is made of stone or not, I don’t know, but I’m sure your face is made of a fortress wall—so thick it couldn’t be blasted by a cannon." Bella leaned against the conference table and said, "But Aiden Hayes, I think your acting talent is wasted if you don’t enter the entertainment industry. Shouldn’t you consider signing with our studio? I could make sure Ms. Flynn gives you the best treatment."
"I don’t want special treatment, I just want you. If your studio can give you to me, I’d sell myself to you for a lifetime." Aiden said with deep affection, not forgetting to throw a charming glance.
"Then sell yourself for a lifetime first, and we’ll talk." Bella rolled her eyes at him again with a smile, saying, "Cut it out, what are you doing here?"
