Chapter 625 - 624: Reunion (20)
Damian Sinclair is particular; of course, he couldn’t eat leftovers from others.
The only dishes on this big table he could accept were the ones Bella Acker had eaten.
He didn’t like to talk once he started eating, and Bella Acker sat silently beside him, her heart a mix of emotions.
Five years ago, he let her go, and now why is he entangling her like this again?
And that phone call he took this afternoon... he has a girlfriend already, is he doing this on purpose to see her panic like before?
Bella Acker curled her lips, thinking, Damian, if that’s the case, then you’re destined to be disappointed.
Bella Acker smiled slightly, picked up her chopsticks, and placed a five-ingredient vegetable roll into Damian Sinclair’s bowl, "Mr. Sinclair, this is quite delicious. If you like it, have more."
Damian Sinclair looked up at her, ate the vegetable roll she had placed in his bowl, then put down his chopsticks.
"Mr. Sinclair, don’t be polite, the food here is quite good, have more," Bella Acker said as she continued to pile food into Damian Sinclair’s bowl.
This time, she included dishes that Archer Quinn and Sandra Woods had eaten as well.
She was deliberately trying to disgust him.
Looking at the heap of food in his bowl, Damian Sinclair turned to look at her.
Bella Acker maintained a very enthusiastic smile, "Mr. Sinclair, why aren’t you eating? This colorful fish roll is also good, everyone likes it, and this is the last one." With that, she put the last colorful fish roll into his bowl.
Damian Sinclair looked at the pile of food in his bowl, a look of distaste in his eyes, "Ms. Acker, there’s no need to deliberately disgust me."
"Am I?" Bella Acker’s smile was innocent, "I thought it was Mr. Sinclair who was purposely making things difficult for me."
"I’m deliberately making things difficult for you, so what?" Damian Sinclair suddenly reached out and pinched her chin, asking in a deep voice.
He exerted quite a bit of force with his fingertips, making Bella Acker’s chin ache slightly, but her expression didn’t change, "Mr. Sinclair, I think your behavior is a bit inappropriate."
"Oh?" Damian Sinclair’s lips suddenly curved into a cold, seductive smile, "I’d love to hear how Ms. Acker thinks I’m inappropriate."
"Of course, you’re provoking me on purpose." Bella Acker blinked twice, not with her usual playful cuteness, but with the allure of a mature woman, "Mr. Sinclair, have you really taken a liking to me again? But it’s a pity, I don’t like men who are already taken. So you have no chance."
"Just as well, I don’t like women who engage in extramarital affairs," Damian Sinclair squinted slightly, a flash of danger in his eyes, "Ms. Acker, does your husband know you’re seducing other men like this?"
"That’s my personal business, no need for Mr. Sinclair to worry." Bella Acker grabbed his hand and pulled it away forcefully, her faint smile unchanged. She casually picked up a wine glass beside her and said, "Mr. Sinclair, it’s a pleasure to see you again, let me toast to you." With that, she tilted her head back and drank it all in one go.
Damian Sinclair frowned tightly at her, then suddenly stood up and walked out of the room swiftly.
"Bang!" The door of the room was slammed shut, and Bella Acker’s heart trembled with the loud noise.
She placed the wine glass on the table weakly, and the facade of nonchalance vanished without a trace, leaving only endless exhaustion beneath the facade.
She had just returned to the country today, yet she encountered him three times in a row.
Oh heavens, are you deliberately testing my acting skills?
