Chapter 222: Three Mortal Gods, One Teacher
I was honestly a little worried that the two Mortal Goddesses would start accusing me of only sleeping with them for their power but...
"Yes!! You just need to feel it! There’s that little wet sensation inside you! You concentrate on it! Come on!!"
Yeah... For some reason, these two became really interested in it and wanted me to use their powers and even took the challenge of trying to see if they could teach me to use them.
But the way Diana is saying it...
I sucked in a breath as I concentrated on the cup of water in front of me, trying my best to follow Diana’s instructions on how to use her powers, supposedly.
I felt something rising up from my abdomen and I realised it really did feel a little ’wet’, like how it feels when you had splashed some water at that place.
I had to resist the temptation to look down to make sure I hadn’t actually wet myself...
Eventually, I saw the water in the cup wobble and I was sure I wasn’t imagining it as I held onto that feeling and slowly willed the water to rise up from the cup.
"Woaaaah! You did it, Qing! Well done!!" She squealed, hugging me and peppering my face with kisses.
Of course, that broke my concentration and the water fell back into the cup again but that didn’t seem to bother Diana at all as she tilted my head up to give me a deep kiss with her tongue involved.
I let her finish kissing me and she pulled back while licking her lips before smirking at me.
"Congratulations, Qing~ You can control water now~"
Before I could even respond to her, Siti wrapped her arms around me and pulled me over to her, shoving my face into her bosoms.
"My turn now, Qing. You must have already figured out what my powers are, right?"
"Umm... Something related to plants?"
"Hmm~ Hmm~ I suppose that is roughly correct in a way."
She then pulls out an apple from behind her which made me wonder where she had been keeping that before handing it to me.
"Here. Make it grow," She instructed.
I blinked at her, "Grow? Like... Into an apple tree?"
"Just grow. Feel free to interpret that however you wish."
That doesn’t help me at all... What does she mean by that? Does she want an apple tree or just a bigger apple?
But by the look on her face, it didn’t look like she was intending to explain anymore than that so I wondered what I was even supposed to do to use her powers.
I’ve seen her change Anomalies into wheat and also made plants grow but... How do I do that? Like... Do I just think about it?
I looked at the apple in my hands, staring hard at it.
Siti moved to hug my head from behind, shoving her boobs against the back of my head.
"There’s no need to think, Qing. Just feel. Life is all about feeling it. Feel the life. You cannot think about life."
That doesn’t really help me much but... Thanks?
Hmm... ’Feel the life’? I narrowed my eyes at the apple, wondering if it’s possible for me to somehow feel the life coming from it.
I honestly had no idea what I was doing and I wasn’t really expecting anything to happen so I jumped a little when I felt a whisper of life energy coming from the apple.
Ok... I guess I should have expected something like that since apples come from plants and didn’t just spontaneously appear so they obviously have some life energy in them too.
Hmm... Actually... This feels similar to me sensing Qi, isn’t it? What happens if I... Absorb this energy?
I felt the flow of life energy being transferred from the apple into me and the change in the apple was immediate.
The red, juicy apple quickly shrunk and deformed itself until it turned into a decomposed husk and then completely broke apart to scatter away into dust.
I stared at my hand which used to hold the apple.
Siti and Diana stared at my hand that used to hold the apple.
I looked up at them at the same time as they did, with Siti still hugging my head from behind.
"What did you do?" Siti asked, pushing her boobs against the back of my head even closer.
"Umm... Err... I made a mistake..."
"What kind of mistake would cause an apple to turn into dust like that?"
"Umm... I directed the life energy... Into myself..."
Siti let out a gasp, "You can do that? Wait... Can I do that? How? How did you do that?"
"Umm... When you said to ’feel the life’... Do you also feel some kind of energy being present inside the plants when you control them?"
She suddenly became quite interested and moved over to stand in front of me, her eyes shining.
"Yes! Did you feel it as well? What did you do with it?"
"I just... Moved the life energy from the apple into my body?"
"But how? How did you do that? I’ve never managed to move that energy out of the plants themselves before."
I blinked at her and I was about to tell her that I just did it when a sudden epiphany appeared in my mind.
"You might have tried to move the life energy around in the plants before but for you to find that you are only able to move them within the plant is due to the fact that you are not exactly controlling the life energy itself. You are using the plant to move that energy around instea--"
"What the fuck?" Diana gasped, interrupting me.
I blinked and turned to her to realise that she was staring up at me with wide eyes, which then also made me realise that Siti was also doing the exact same thing with the same expression.
Not only that, sometime during my explanation, both of them had moved to sit on their knees in front of me like they were students seated before a teacher.
I was going to ask what was wrong when Diana lifted her finger to point at me. No... To point at something behind me.
"Why the heck do you have some glowing circle be-- Ah... It’s gone."
I cleared my throat, "Ah... The halo thing is it? It’s apparently part of my god powers or something. I’m not really sure what triggers it at the moment but it’s apparently tied to trying to teach something I think? The exact requirements aren’t really that clear to me yet."
Siti pointed at herself, "Ah, you were trying to teach me, right? About the life energy thing. What does the halo actually do?"
"It seems like... It allows me to know things? Something like giving me temporary omniscience about a particular subject I think... Like I would just suddenly know stuff even if I originally did not know them. Umm... Like right now, I don’t actually know what I was about to say before I got interrupted. But I remember what I said and understood their meaning and... If you ask me the question again, I might be able to know the answer again."
Siti understood immediately and asked again, "So what is the difference? Why am I unable to do the same thing?"
I waited for a moment and... There it was.
"You have been using your powers to influence the plant to move the life energy around and also making them absorb more life energy through the plant itself. The problem is that the plants are not naturally able to release that life energy outside of themselves which is why you’re not able to do that."
Siti gasped, "I didn’t even know that... Is there a way to change that?"
"If you influence the plant to grow in a way that allows it to do so, then yes. Since your powers do not really allow you to manipulate life energy by itself."
Diana kept switching her gaze between me and Siti before pointing at herself, "What about me? Could I also be doing something wrong as well?"
I looked at her and I thought I wouldn’t actually have anything to say to her since I wasn’t really fully aware of her capabilities to begin with but information came into my head before I even realised it.
"You believe your powers are only connected to the sea but you have not actually dived into the esoteric meaning of the spirits that you personify. You might gain more understanding of it if you were to focus on that aside from believing that it is only limited to water."
Diana was just looking up at me with wide eyes and even Siti was looking quite surprised by my answer.
Heck, even I was surprised by the words that came out of my mouth because I have no idea what the heck I’m talking about.
Diana finally recovered and she moved closer to me while still on her knees to ask a single question.
"Can I suck your dick?"
